[Guida] Driver Canon LBP 2900 (USB) su Slackware

Per provare si può, ma dubito che serva. Mi sembrerebbe strano che la Canon non abbia indicato la tua stampante come supportata, se funzionasse con quei driver.
Secondo me ti conviene insistere con gli altri driver, quelli del francese. Nel README c'è scritto chiaramente cosa fare, lo hai seguito passo per passo?

Aumenta il loglevel (di default è info, mettilo a debug) e prova a stampare la pagina di prova di cups

In quello che hai postato non vedo niente sulla stampa, probabilmente non hai preso le righe giuste, riprova segnandoti l'ora esatta a cui lanci la stampa, così puoi copiare i log a partire dal momento giusto.

Può dipendere anche dal file di config?

Se interpreto bene, usa ghostscript per mandare i dati da stampare in pipe al processo capt (che penso sia quello che alla fine comunica con la stampante). Bisognerebbe capire perché non lo fa e dove si incarta. Forse in quel /tmp/capt.log c'è qualche indizio.
Un'alternativa sarebbe lanciarlo in qualche modo da console.

Però sono andato a leggere il thread sul forum di Ubuntu in francese, e per quanto capisca il francese come l'arabo (cioè per niente :D ) sembra che siano riusciti a far andare la tua stampante con il driver ufficiale Canon, spacciandola per una LBP-1120.
A questo punto ritorna in gioco questa opzione, e se funziona significa che alla Canon sono degli incompetenti. [-X
Vedi tu che strada intraprendere, se vuoi provare i driver ufficiali disinstalla quello che hai installato (spero sia previsto un make uninstall) e metti gli altri, ti consiglio l'rpm convertito in tgz visto che per me ha funzionato.

syaochan ho letto un po' qua e là sulla lbp-1120 e...dopo quasi un anno in cui ho lasciato e preso la configurazione per la mia stampante Canon LBP-810 grazie all'aiuto che ho ricevuto in questo thread ho risolto :thumbright:


Elenco qui sotto ciò che ho fatto sperando che sia utile a qualcun altro:

-Scaricati i pacchetti: cndrvcups-capt-1.50-i486 e cndrvcups-common-1.80-i486

-Installati:

installpkg cndrvcups*.tgz


-Scaricato il file rc.ccpd

-Dato i permessi e spostato:

chmod a+x rc.ccpd
mv rc.ccpd /etc/rc.d/rc.ccpd

Ecco fatto, in CUPS, ho stampato la pagina di prova. Ho provato anche a stampare con OpenOffice e Kate ed è andato tutto bene.
La stampante è riconosciuta come LBP-1120 (perchè in realtà è il procedimento utilizzato per quel modello) ma funge lo stesso anche con la LBP-810.


P.S.
Ho visto che avviando slack , pur avendo dato i permessi a rc.ccpd non si avvia, quindi in /etc/rc.d/rc.local ho dovuto aggiungere:

Io non capisco perchè tutti stampano e io no!!!
Funziona tutto, mi da un output come quello della guida dopo ccpdadmin non mi sembra che nei file di log ci siano errori...
Posto una foto, se si puo vedere che mi combina!!!
praticamente quando stampo la pagina di prova ( o qualunque altro file) rimane in questa condizione...
volete leggere qualche altro file? ditemi cosa devo postare che lo posto immediatamente...sto uscendo di testa!!! :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

Se guardi nella pagina precedente di questo thread, ci sono delle domande che ti avevo fatto, a cui non hai risposto. Quella fondamentale, come sempre, riguarda i log. :)
Poi potresti ridimensionare l'immagine? Sballa tutta la pagina.

Non ho nessuna voglia di spulciarmi log lunghissimi. Metti il livello di log a debug, guarda l'ora e lancia la stampa, poi vai a recuperare la parte di log rilevante e inseriscila qua usando il tag Code.
