Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware64 postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti che trattano la Slackware32 o generali... per quelli usate rispettivamente il forum Slackware e Gnu/Linux in genere.

Ciao a tutti, avevo avuto dei problemi con gli effetti 3d ricompilando il kernel(kernel zen: v2.6.32-zen5), allora ho pensato che siccome con il kernel generico funzionavano, di configurare il config del generico per renderlo piu performante, l'ho configurato e compilato ma ecco che non parte Xorg, nè con kdm, ne con startx, non parte, rimane una schermata tutta nera.
Inoltre dopo udev all'avvio mi dà dei strani uotput, ora posto un pò di tutto:

Ciao,
Non uso lo Xorg.conf, anche se comunque con gli altri .config mi funziona, poi non capisco perchè ogni volta che compilo un kernel, e dò lilo, mi riporta questo:

Copia System.map a /boot/System.map-lupass2,
le prossime versioni le nomini *-lupass3
e le aggiungi a /etc/lilo.conf.

PS E` uscito 2.6.32.4 non ancora scaricabile ...

Ah sisi questo lo sò, credevo che bisognava aggiungere System.map in lilo.conf.
Quindi basta mettere lo stesso "susffisso" che si mette all'immagine del kernel esempio:
vmlinuz-lupass
System.map-lupass
E così riesce a trovare System.map.
Giusto??
