Ndiswrapper

Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware64 postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti che trattano la Slackware32 o generali... per quelli usate rispettivamente il forum Slackware e Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware64 usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.
2) Per evitare confusione prego inserire in questo forum solo topic che riguardano appunto Slackware64, se l'argomento è Slackware32 o generale usate rispettivamente il forum Slackware o Gnu/Linux in genere.
3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute
4) Scrivere i messaggi con il colore di default, evitare altri colori.
5) Scrivere in Italiano o in Inglese, se possibile grammaticalmente corretto, evitate stili di scrittura poco chiari, quindi nessuna abbreviazione tipo telegramma o scrittura stile SMS o CHAT.
6) Appena registrati è consigliato presentarsi nel forum dedicato.

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

Sono anni che non uso ndiswrapper, quindi ti so aiutare relativamente. Si, ricordo che doveva mostrare entrambi.
Hai provato a cancellare /etc/ndiswrapper (o simile) e rifare tutto da capo?

Ma soprattutto, hai verificato che non esista il driver nativo invece di usare quello per windows?

Non saprei dato che ho poca esperienza in ambito, anni fa funzionò tutto senza darmi troppe compliacazioni, non sapevo nemmeno esistesse un driver nativo per la mia scheda wifi, pensi che posso seguire le istruzioni date da quel link anche se sono per debian?

E sul mio funziona (ho una scheda simile AXC100)

Il driver nativo, credo non compili con i nuovi kernels.....

Inoltre dmesg ti dice qualcosa? Come hai verificato la presenza dell'interfaccia? Nel mio caso , ad esempio, l'interfaccia viene rinominata in wlan1

credo che il dmesg lo devi dare dopo il modprobe

anche lspci e lspci -n (o usb) e un cat del .inf del driver windows potrebbe aiutarci

Il problema fondamentale e' che si tratta di un chipset vecchiotto.... E quindi, non esistono drivers a 64bit per windows. L'unica tua opzione (oltre ad istallare una slack 32bit) e' quella di intraprendere la strada dei drivers linux.

Spulcia nei forums, sembra che , a differenza dell' ACX110, compili anche con i kernels nuovi...

Naturalmente avrai bisogno del firmware che puoi trovare nei drivers per windows.

The ACX driver has WEP support, but not WPA.
l-ho letto nel wiki http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/acx100/index.php?title=ACX se non la supporta come faccio?
Funzionerebbero i driver a 32 installando il multilib di alien?
