a fatica, ma sto tentando di configurare samba per condividere con il portatile directory e stampante allocati sul pc desk "slackwarizzato".
ho editato un script con cui sarebbe mia intenzione far partire i demoni nmbd smbd winbindd ma questo è il listato di ps -aux:

come vedete nn compare winbindd.
lo script che ho editato è il seguente:

suggerimenti?

come mai nel listato ps -aux compare due volte smbd?

Winbind serve per "unificare" un dominio NT con uno *nix

Winbind unifies UNIX and Windows NT account management by allowing a UNIX box to become a full member of an NT domain. Ora parli di portatile + desktop con slack, hai configurato il portatile come "controller di dominio"?

Secondo me winbind a te non serve e forse (non lo conosco) non parte perchè non trova un controller di dominio.
