Aiuto con Slackware 10

Ciao a tutti, ho appena installato la Slackware 10 e avrei bisogno del vostro aiuto.
<BR>Per adesso vorrei sistemare questi problemi
<BR>Dov-e il file per configurare la tastiera e il mouse_
<BR>Come vedete ho tutti i tasti con i simboli e punteggiatura cambiati. e non mi va la rotellina. Basta aggiungere ZAxis Mapping 4 5 come con Xfree_
<BR>
<BR>Non sono riuscito a installare LILO perche mi dava dei problemi, cosi sono entrato col CD di installazione e ho installato grub scompattandolo da un tar.gz
<BR>Qualcuno sa dirmi come devo fare per avere il menu quando accendo il PC in modo da vedere tutti i sistemi operativi_
<BR>Adesso quando accendo il PC mi ritrovo con una shell di grub e per entrare in Slackware devo scrivere root(hd0,3)
<BR>kernel /boot/vmlinuz............... ro root=/dev/hda3

<BR>Cercando ogni volta di non schiacciare tasti sbagliati visto che la tastiera non e giusta neanche qui.

ti invio le mie parti di xorg.conf per quanto riguarda mouse e tastiera per grub le stesse cose che scrivi nel prompt di grub le devi mettere nel file "menu.lst" che sinceramente non ricordo dove è posizionato perchè da un po´ sono passato a lilo

Sono ancora io.
<BR>Non riesco a risolvere questo problema:
<BR>Il volume DXS in alsamixer( che con la 9.1 non c´era) è sempre a 0 anche se lo aggiusto e lo salvo con alsactl store.
<BR>Cosa devo fare?
<BR>Da parte mia ho provato aggiungendomi al gruppo audio e facendo partire alsaconf.

<BR>Inoltre ho un altro fastidioso problema che non so proprio da cosa possa essere causato: capita abbastanza di frequente che tutto si blocchi per qualche secondo per un paio di volte consecutive.

Dopo aver provato runlevel etc. per il suono basta disabilitare il caricamneto del mixer dal pannello di controllo.
<BR>L´altro problema invece persiste.
<BR>Ascoltando un po´ di musica mi sono accorto che questi malfunzionamenti sono frequentemente brevi e fanno saltare il CD o l´MP3 e meno spesso, come ho detto sopra, durano qualche secondo per due volte consecutive.
<BR>
<BR>In un forum americano mi hanno detto che potrebbe essere la partizione di swap oppure l´hard drive sta morendo, ma non sono sicuro di aver capito bene.

<BR>E´ meglio reinstallare tutto?<br>
