Log del boot

Esiste un posto dove il sistema "registra" il boot nel senso dov'è, se c'è, che si possono leggere tutte quelle righe di informazioni che passano durante il boot? Perchè guardando lo schermo in fase di boot mi sono apparsi due error ma va talmente veloce che non riesco a capire di cosa si tratta. Grazie

In un altro post è stato consigliato di lanciare
pkgtool e poi scegliere
setup...
Personalmente non ho mai provato (della serie
non mi assumo responsabilità
).

Ho letto in un post qui su slacky di mettere in /etc/rc.d/rc.local
/etc/rc.d/rc.udev restart
l'ho fatto ed il risultato è un mezzo risultato nel senso che sono diminuite le righe

ti dovrebbe azzerare il ring buffer del kernel, riportando l'ultimo boot!

A parte il fatto che tutta sta pappina di roba non mi sembra quello che scorre al boot, ma mi devo preoccupare della frase

Puoi anche scorrere /var/log/dmesg , per l'errore facendo una ricerca, sembra un bug del kernel, anche se non so se possa essere relazionato al tuo caso!

Da quanto ho capito è un problema di rc.pcmcia... considerando che io ho slackware su un fisso, ho disabilitato lo script visto che nn uso schede pcmcia... ma dato che hai un portatile nn saprei come aiutarti

... spero ti aiuti il fatto che comunque il problema deriva da li...
