Kde 3.5.6... stessi bug del 3.5.5 !?

Ho compilato kdelibs e kdebase 3.5.6 sperando di risolvere i problemi che avevo con il 3.5.5 ma sono rimasti...
Kdm non funziona, non mi fa accedere ad X e mi restituisce solo un terminale, come se scegliessi la sessione sicura...E se mi copiassi l'eseguibile funzionante di qualcuno potrei risovere ? O magari potrei installare gdm...E' fattibile ?
Secondariamente konqueror mi va in crash quando apro i pdf...Dice "unable to load Netscape plugin for..."
Suggerimenti ?
