Salve ragazzi sono nuovo del forum.
Non so se ho infranto qualche regola aprendo un nuovo topic praticamente identico ad un'altro ma vi prego di perdonarmi...

Ormai è un anno che mi trascino dietro questo problema ed è talmente incomprensibile che avevo lasciato stare....ma il mio orgoglio non ne vuole sapereed eccomi qua

Ho una rete wi-fi in casa, il mio provider è Alice e mi connetto ad internet con un Adapter Sagem USB XG-703A...

utilizzo slackware 11.0 col kernel 2.6.17.13
vi posto tutto cio che faccio e ditemi per favore dove sbaglio....non riesco in pratica a navigare...

Scusa la domanda stupida, ma il router è un modem router?

è il famoso pirelli gate di alice...è composto da due moduli attaccati, un modem e un router....comunque

sono riuscito a connettermi la sequenza delle operazioni che ho fatto sono:
-carico il modulo ndiswrapper (modprobe ndiswrapper)
-configuro la rete wifi (iwconfig wlan0 key open s:******)
-mi collego con il pppoe-start

il tutto funziona, quasi correttamente, se non che, se apro programmi p2p o amsn,
dopo un po l'interfaccia ppp mi va down:
ppppoe-status: Link is attached to ppp0, but ppp0 is down

sapete perchè e soprattutto sapete dirmi come devo fare?
se avete bisogno di qlc output chiedete pure

possibile che tutte le volte devo riavviare il PC?

Ok tutto risolto...era una cavolata...bastava sfruttare la connessione pppoe (con i vari client) da user anxichè da root...
