[RISOLTO] libdvdread

Stavo cercando di fare un backup di un mio dvd ma facendo vobcopy -m ottengo:
Codice: Seleziona tutto
libdvdread: Error cracking CSS key for /VIDEO_TS/VIDEO_TS.VOB (0x00000120)
e termina con:
Ho cercato nel forum e con google...ma non ho trovato nulla di significativo.
Ho libdvdcss1.2.9, libdvdread 0.9.7, vobcopy1.0.0
Tutti presi da slacky.
Come posso risolvere?

Nessuno ha mai avuto un problema così?
Oltretutto mi sono accorto che non riesco neanche a vedere semplicemente i dvd!
La mia riga di /etc/fstab se può servire è:
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom auto noauto,owner,ro 0 0
Io ho provato sotto windows (sulla stessa macchina) e là riesco a vedere i dvd!
Ho trovato poi un prog che si chiama regionset
ma nel README dice:
On delivery, most DVD drives have no region code set. The drive firmware
allows yu to change the region code, but on nearly all drives you are limited
to five (5) changes. After the fifth change, the DVD drive will stay fixed
on that code -- on some drives you can upgrade the drive firmware and have
then additional five changes, on other drives you won't be able to change
the region code any more.
...e io non vorrei avere problemi in seguito! Magari dopo nn mi funziona + manco in windows...
che mi consigliate?

per prima cosa proviamo a risolvere il problema di visione: fatto quello dovresti risolvere il resto... per caso ti sei aggiunto al gruppo cdrom? da quanto hai questo problema?

ci sono arrivato per conto mio. Era proprio come dicevi tu!
Ho aggiunto l'utente al gruppo cdrom e ora funziona sia la visione del dvd che vobcopy!
Pero' non ho capito una cosa:
Io ho risolto semplicemente aggiungendo l'utente al gruppo cdrom mentre root non l'ho modificato.
Eppure ora vobcopy funziona anche da root mentre prima non funzionava!
Come mai?
