sono appena passato da Xorg 6.7 a Xorg 6.8 ma ottengo errori nella parte

<BR>riesco a far partire X solo se disabilito il modulo speedo e tutta la parte che rigurda la keyboard e il serverlayout ma cosi facendo la tastiera diventa US avete qlc idea a proposito vi e´ successa la stessa cosa?

ok problema risolto @# tastiera in ita e speedo caricato la mattina a mente sgombra si ragiona meglio... erano pure le 2:30 di notte LOL<br>

Anche io ho avuto lo stesso problema, quando sono passato dalla 6.7 alla 6.8, potresti dirmi come devo fare a risolvere il problema del modulo keyboard. Preciso che ho upgradato i pacchetti trovati sul sito linuxpackages.net .

Come scritto su linuxpackages "The only issues that has beeen noted are that some fonts have been removed and the keyboard driver name has changed from the previous version.", io ho risolto creando da zero il file di configurazione con xorgconfig.
<BR>Ho una ATI su un portatile e devo dire che il supporto è migliorato di molto. Gli effetti ombra sono molto belli, le trasparenze le ho provate ma senza il 3D sono inutilizzabili per la lentezza.

maiala, le bestemmie che non sto tirando...
<BR>mi sono compilato xorg 6.8, e tutto funziona col piccolo effetto collaterale che alcune applicazioni crashano il sistema irrimediabilmente.
<BR>Tutto questo solo coi driver nvidia, con i suoi nv tutto funge, a parte la lentezza...
<BR>nei freeze X si prende un bel signal 11 da chissàchi e mi frizza tutto tastiera compresa...
<BR>Per evitare danni seri devo fare prove connesso a un portatile "scorta" ( un toshiba satellite pro 400cs di 15 anni fa, pentium 75 e 16 MB di ram, con slack va alla grande) e da questo killare tutto con ssh.

Io, dato che dell´accelerazione 3D non me ne faccio nulla, non ho installato altro che il server X, utilizzo il driver radeon e null´altro...<br>
