Eccomi qui con un nuovo problema:non riesco ad impostare la tastiera in italiano e non so dove ho sbagliato.Ecco che cosa ho fatto.Ho aperto il file /etc/rc.d/rc.keymap ed ho modificato la riga di caricamento tastiera in "/usr/bin/loadkeys it.map.gz".Poi in xorg.conf,ho decommentato Option "XkbModel" "pc105" ed ho aggiunto la riga Option "KxbLayout" "it".Ho quindi aperto /etc/profle.d/lang.csh ed ho messo it al posto di us.Stessa operazione con /etc/profle.d/lang.sh.Infine ho dato il comando "loadkeys it" e mi esce questo output "loading /usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/qwerty/it.map.gz".Eppure la tastiera non funziona e,nel centro di controllo,c'e' solo la tastiera americana.Ecco il mio xorg.conf.Cosa c'e' che non va?

...probabilmente è un problema di mappatura della tastiera. Prova a fare così; menù"K"->Centro di controllo->Regionali e accesso facilitato->Mappatura della tastiera. Probabilmente qui è impostata la mappatura USA, rimuovila e aggiungi quella Italiana....eventualmente indica la tastiera più simile alla tua dal menù a tendina "Modello di tastiera".

Prova con "xorgcfg" vedi se ti escono altri modelli di tastiera, nel caso affermativo settala direttamente (ovviamente prima di salvare le impostazioni fatti un backup del file "xorg.conf", riavvi X e vedi se funziona

Una curiosità...è possibile aggiungere modelli di tastiera a quelli già presenti in kde?
Ho una logitech media keyboard elite; provai un po' di tempo fa con lineak ma avevo dei problemi di mappatura in base al runlevel (3 o 4) che usavo...
