Ati Radeon 9250 e drivers prorietari.

I miei problemi sono incominciati quando ho deciso di installare i drivers proprietari della ati. Io utilizzo una radeon 9250 e ho scaricato il pacchetto: ati-driver-installer-8.28.8.run.. Tutto questo perché vorrei provare gli effetti che posso ottenere effetti grafici con compiz..
Siccome è la prima volta che faccio questa operazione ho seguito questi tutorial...

Ho seguito passo passo quello che c'era scritto...
Faccio i pacchetti con lo slack build.. e mi da questo:

I pacchetti me li crea ugualmente e provo a installarli con il comando installpkg e tutto sembra andare bene.....

Ho seguito la guida che mi hai suggerito per installare i drivers open... Ho verificato l'installazione e sembra che tutto funzioni..L'unico problema è che il direct rendering non è abilitato.. Infatti al comando glxinfo | grep "direct rendering" mi risponde direct rendering: No..

ti sei ricordato di reinstallare il pacchetto mesa se usi slackware 12?in ogni caso segui la mia guida che ti ho linkato per la disinstallazione dei proprietari, ti dice tutto...

cerca di editare un po i tuoi post perchè sennò diventa illeggibile il 3ad. quando posti l'xorg.conf postalo con questo comando...
