io purtroppo ho una ati ma se cerchi ci sono diversi post che potrebbero risolvere il tuo problema

First you need to check to see if Compiz started properly. Try to move a window by pressing alt and then dragging the window, if it moves then Compiz is running. If it does not then you need to fix that problem first.

If that works then check the following things.

* Check that the decoration plugin is loaded
* Make sure the Device section of your xorg.conf file contains this line 'Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"'

If you have checked those things, then go to a terminal and type gtk-window-decorator --replace. If your window borders do not appear then please post the output to the forum.

-In sostanza:
nella tua Section "Device" devi insterire quanto segue: Mi pare di capire che tu hai quella riga in Section "Screen".

PS: forse hai anche qualche altra riga nella Section sbagliata

Ah, quasi dimenticavo! Lancia CompizConfig Setting Manager e assicurati che sia spuntato la voce Window Decoration della sezione Effects

Grazie Dapuzz, cosi mi parte regolarmente,
Unica cosa, mi sembra un po' scattosa, non come in altre distro come in Sidux che compiz è molto lineare come effetti.

sono arrivato tardi , comunque c'era scritto qui il da farsi:

per il fatto che è scattoso prova a seguire le ottimizzazioni che presento sempre in quella guida e vedi se le prestazioni aumentano. vanno bene anche per le nvidia.
