[RISOLTO] Mannaggia al wireless

Salve a tutti!
Spero sarete comprensivi, ma questa cosa del wireless mi sta tirando scemo.
Allora, 2 giorni fa Infostrada mi ha fatto recapitare un router D-link DVA-G3340S che funziona anche da AP.
Dopo una mezza giornata passata cercando di capire perchè riuscivo a pingarlo ma non a navigare (ho dovuto blacklistare ipv6) e cercare di configurare (seguendo le guide di alcuni thread qui su Slacky) il wireless del portatile (un HP DV1000) per vedere l'AP ho ottenuto questi risultati:
- quasi al primo tentativo, con AP senza protezione, sono riuscito a uscire su Internet
ovviamente avere l'AP aperto al mondo non mi sfagiola e ho fatto alcuni tentativi con WEP:
- fallimento totale, ma forse non mi sono impegnato abbastanza dopo aver letto che come sistema di cifratura non è il massimo della sicurezza
al che mi sono messo in testa di passare a WPA:
- dopo un'altra mezza giornata ero riuscito a uscire su Internet, ma quando ho riavviato il portatile non sono più stato in grado.
Ho provato anche alcune gui, ma non mi hanno soddisfatto (oppure non hanno funzionato per nulla) e mi diverto molto di più ad usare Vim
Intanto vi posto i miei file di configurazione (perlomeno nell'ultima "release"
) e vi posso già dire che:
- Slackware 12.1 con kernel di default
- lspci > Intel Corp. PRO/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection (rev 05)
- ifconfig > vede la scheda wireless come eth1
- iwlist eth1 scan > vede l'AP
- l'AP è impostato come server DHCP
rc.inet1.conf
wpa_supplicant.conf
resolv.conf
rc.wireless non lo posto perchè non l'ho toccato.
Di qualunque altra informazione abbiate bisogno chiedete pure.
