Salve a tutti,
stavo cercando di installare questa stampante z640 sulla mia slackware12.2. Su google ho trovato questa guida:

e ho proceduto a trasformare gli rpm a tgz tramite rpm2tgz. installati correttamente.
ho provato ad usare sia cups che il printer-manager di kde ma praticamente il device usb non esiste. praticamente non esiste /dev/usb/lp0
il modulo usblp e' caricato. rc.cups e' partito (ovviamente).
la cosa strana e' che se collego la stampante all'usb dmesg mi dice:

grazie. avevo gia' visto quella pagina. il problema credo sia con la mia porta usb. infatti slackware riconosce la mia stampante
come un mouse ...
