cairo-dock e xfce, problema finestra avvio e menu

ciao a tutti,
ho installato la cairo-dock sul mio pc. funziona, ma ho due problemi:
• non riesco a evitare che all'avvio si apra la finestra che mi chiede se voglio usare la dock con o senza opengl. nelle opzioni di avvio ho aggiunto la cairo, sicché ora all'avvio mi ritrovo con due dock-bar.
• non trovo la maniera di inserire il menu di xfce nella dock-bar. l'avevo provata in precedenza su una ubuntu con gnome e aveva il menu di gnome. ora vorrei mettere il menu di xfce sulla dock della mia slackware. sono riuscito solo ad aggiungere un lanciatore che apre il menu nel pannello (pannello che appunto vorrei eliminare).
inoltre ho notato una strana cosa. alcuni dei lanciatori creati sul desktop con xfce vengono accettati (tipo il terminale) dalla dockbar trascinandoli sopra, altri rifiutati (tipo thunar) e bisogna ricrearli ex novo sulla bar o chiedere di creare il lanciatore (ha funzionato con pidgin).

per i lanciatori ho risolto copiandoli da /usr/share/applications/ in home/thepaperboy/.config/cairo/current_theme/launchers
ma non riesco a risolvere il menu xfce così.
per la finestra di avvio, mi sto chiedendo se basti reinstallare cairo, avendo cliccato sull'opzione delle dock avvia all'avvio (
) ed essendo il pop up iniziale, forse, generato da quello. però da qualche parte deve esistere il lancio di quella finestra'?!?!??!

devo supporre che nessuno usa xfce e cairo insieme, giusto?

I try to compile it here and I got som errors during it. But I had done the make && make install and I got the icons on menu, I launched both GL and noGL and either work, but noGL got better performance on my machine.
I still prefer screenlets then I didn't get so far o cairo-dock. but...
what errors are you taking?

the problem is this: when I launch startx, xfce starts and a window popup comes asking me if I want to open cairo-dock with opengl or not (it means, to launch cairo-dock -c or cairo dock -o). well, I don't like to make this choise everytime I launch startx, instead I'd like to set it in the applications autostart (under sessions and applications in xfce). for the moment, I solved renaming usr/bin/cairo-dock and adding in session and startup --> autostart application a new issue, using the command renamed with the option I want it to start (-o for openglx and -c for not use that). but this didn't solve the problem of a process looking for cairo-dock at the startup of x.
other things is that I'd like to put an icon in the dock-bar that let me browse the xfce menu as I do in the xfce panel menu.

dopo mille tentativi, ho risolto momentaneamente il problema dell'avvio della cairo dock con il popup rinominando il file /usr/bin/cairo-dock e impostando in sessions and starup --> autostart application l'esecuzione del comando rinominato con l'opzione da me scelta (-o per openglx e -c per non averle).
questo funziona, ma resta il fatto che così da qualche parte c'è un processo che cerca di avviare cairo-dock non trovando questo comando

ciao paperboy,
scusa forse ti propongo una soluzione talmente ovvia che certamente l'avrai provata anche tu, ma visto che non c'è scritto, non si sa mai..
xfce gestisce i processi da far avviare allo startup tramite Gestione Sessioni.. hai provato ad uscire salvando la sessione senza cairo avviato e poi a ridare startx?
Ma ovviamente lo avrai già fatto..

avevo in effetti già considerato la proposta di brainvision, ma l'avevo lasciata come ultima soluzione, in quanto volevo capire che succedeva.
ora, siccome stamane mi è rispuntata la finestra di pop up, e non ho la pià pallida idea di come diavolo faccia ad avviarsi ancora allo startx, avendo io rinominato il comando cairo-dock (che quindi non dovrebbe più essere trovato dal comando che avvia la finestra), alla fine ho provato col salvataggio automatico della sessione con cairo chiusa.
senza modificare nulla, al riavvio è partita la barra con le mie impostazioni per via delle applications autostart. vediamo se fra qualche riavvio non rispunta la finestra.

al primo riavvio di x è tornato a presentarsi il problema della finestra di popup
