istallazione librerie

Ciao,
devo usare anjuta con le librerie gtkmm
Ho installato da slacky.it gtkmm-2.4 solo ch equando creo il progetto mi dic che non le riesce a trovare e che devo settare la varibile PKG_CONFIG_PATH
Come posso fare?

Per quel che riguarda gtkmm mi dice:
Package gtkmm-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path
Perphaps you should add the directory containing 'gtkmm-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environmnet varaiabile
No package 'gtkmm-2.0' found
configure:error:Library requirements(gtkmm-2.0) not met;consider adjust the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variabile if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them
(mi e toccato scriverlo a mano copia e incolla nn va..)
mentre x glade:
Error running glade-- to generate the C++ source code.
Check that you have glade-- installed and that it is in your PATH.
Then try running 'glade-- <project_file.glade>' in a terminal.
