ciao, riapro questo post perchè vorrei capire come mai alcune patch vengono installate e altre no. Ho kernel-2.6.26-rc9-git1, git1 l'ho patchato ne ho 10 da fare tuttavia la prima è andata in porto almeno credo come installo la seconda patch mi da:

potete dirmi cosa significa? Ultima cosa, una volta ricompilato il kernel come faccio a sapere se la patch me l'ha installata c'è qualche comando?Grazie ciao.

Credo che dovresti installare prima la http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/ ... 26-rc9.bz2, poi la http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/ ... -git11.bz2 .
Le git non vanno applicate alla git precedente, ma alla rc precedente, non sono, per intendersi, come: http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/ ... 5.9-10.bz2 .
Per applicare una patch git dovresti tornare alla rc di riferimento, riapplicando eventualmente l'ultima patch al rovescio con -R o conservandone l'archivio tar vergine.

Gli errori che hai ottenuto indicano che hai applicato male la patch.
