Salve a tutti!

Sto provando a connettermi dall'ufficio alla VPN dell'università: ho scaricato, compilato ed installato pptp da Slackbuilds.org, configurato la connessione e ho provato a connettermi;

Sono connesso alla rete dell'ufficio con la rete locale wifi, provo ad inserire una regola di routing con:

ip route add 192.168.0.0 dev ppp0

ma se cerco di accedere a siti scientifici, cui l'università è abbonata, trovo sempre un accesso come guest. Evidentemente sbaglio qualcosa, ma cosa?

mi sono accorto (dopo aver già scritto il messaggio

) che esistono dei post simili sul forum. Vedrò di seguire le indicazioni fornite per gli altri, anche se l'assenza di una risposta echo mi fa temere che la connessione non sia andata a buon fine

Ho provato, ma non riesco ugualmente a fare funzionare un tubo. La riposta echo, in realtà c'è, solo nel log che ho riportato manca. Ho provato a dare parecchi comandi route, ma non ottengo niente.

ho scoperto che pptp nasce bacato in partenza: cerca di utilizzare il comando ip, cercandolo però in /bin mentre è in /sbin. Basta un collegamento simbolico e si risolve il fastidioso difetto per cui impallava la cpu al 100%. Continua a non funzionare il tunnelling, tuttavia. È così complicato impostare la rete di modo che tutto il traffico passi attraverso il tunnel? Ho provato a seguire le istruzioni riportate su http://pptpclient.sourceforge.net/routi ... -to-tunnel, ma continua a non funzionare.

La cosa che mi fa più imbestialire è che l'università mette le istruzioni per collegarsi alla rete vpn tramite linux, ma volete sapere come? Semplice, installate NetworkManager! Geniale, 8 kg di dipendenze da soddisfare per una sola connessione...

Risolto il problema! Bastava modificare la tabella di routing dando i seguenti comandi:
