ciao a tutti<br /><br />ho un problema con tar: <br /><br />al comando tar -cvf /dev/st0 path.e.nome.file<br /><br />non riesco a salvare su nastro dds2 (capacità non compressa 4.0 gb) un file unico di 3.7 gb (mpg) infatti mi chiede il secondo nastro; lo stesso file preventivamente gzipped e ridotto a 3.3 circa sullo stesso nastro viene correttamente riversato. Ma se la capacità è di 4.0 gb come mai accade ciò? esistequalche "hidden file" che mi fotte alcune centinaia di kb? e se affermativo quanto ?<br /><br />grazie in anticipo<br /><br />paolo<br>

a me con quelle da 20GB non riuscivo a cpiarci dentro piu´ di 15-16GB<br /><br>

<BR>Hai provato a fare prove con l´opzione -b ? Modifica il block size in
<BR>trasferimento, spesso si ottengono prestazioni milgiori o come nel tuo
<BR>caso + affidabili.<br />
