<BR>Ho compilato Mplayer 1.0pre7 e non ci sono stati problemi! Il problema
<BR>sorge quando avvio mplayer utilizzando come driver grafico xvidix
<BR>(driver consigliato ottimizzato per radeon e altre schede grafiche).
<BR>Leggendo la documentazione è possibile lanciare mplayer -vo xvidix solo
<BR>da root, oppure impostando il bit SUID sull´eseguibile
<BR>/usr/local/bin/mplayer.. in questo modo però sorge un grave problema di
<BR>sicurezza.. (lo dice la stessa documentazione). Consigli/Soluzioni?
<BR>Forse è meglio utilizzare sudo per questo?<br />

Per quanto riguarda la seconda richiesta, vai al sito <a target="_self" href="http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... leases/</a>
<BR>, entra nella directory relativa alla tua versione di mozilla e
<BR>scaricati gecko-sdk. Fatto questo, sposta il file scaricato in
<BR>/usr/lib/mozilla-tua_versione/ e scompattalo con il solito "tar zxvf
<BR>gecko-sdk-i686-pc-linux-gnu-tua_versione.tar.gz". A questo punto
<BR>riesegui il configure specificando la path verso gecko-sdk, con il
<BR>comando:<br />
<BR>"./configure --with-gecko-sdk=/usr/lib/mozilla-tua_versione/gecko-sdk --enable-x".<br />
<BR>compila con "make" e copia mplayerplug-in.so e mplayerplug-in.xpt
<BR>rispettivamente in /usr/lib/mozilla-tua_versione/plugins/ e
<BR>/usr/lib/mozilla-tua_versione/components/ .<br />
<BR>Per quanto riguarda il primo quesito, non so che dirti... i problemi di
<BR>sicurezza sono legati alla possibilita´ di mandare in overflow il
<BR>buffer, cosa che puo´ portare un utente esterno ad acquisire privilegi
<BR>di amministratore... se pero´ vuoi sfruttare l´accelerazione da utente
<BR>normale, non vedo altri modi se non quello di impostare il bit SUID o
<BR>utilizzare sudo...<br />
