slacky.it normally makes packages of good quality. However, I didn't test them compiz packages. I only know that my own ones run very stable, inclusive on my old computer. However, my opinion is, its very important to use mesa 7 rather than 6.5 so that I provided a package for this, slacky.it unfortunately didn't do this.
