A question about the new Xara package

This new package is great but I want to ask something about the dependancies...
Should I have wxGTK 2.6.3-unicode if I have 2.6.2
As this package /wxGTK/ is so strange for me... I've read about too many problems with it and aMule for example... I have 2.6.2 installed /the one from Slacky.it/ and it is working fine for me... The other thing is... why this 2.6.3 is... "unicode"? And what does it mean?
My 2.6.2 is not "unicode" I guess... So what is it then? And can I upgrade to 2.6.3 if my Slackware is in Bulgarian? /KDE I mean/... So Bulgarian means cp-1251, not utf-8
With other words, I don't mind to upgrade my wxGTK to 2.6.3-unicode, but can I expect any problems... The 2.6.2 package still stays in Slacky's repository, so 2.6.3 is not like an upgrade for 2.6.2?
Please any help here...
