amsn-0.95-i486-1sl non invia file.

Ciao.
Ho installato amsn-0.95-i486-1sl con tls1.4.1-linux-x86.tar.gz e funziona tutto a dovere se non fosse che non invia files.
Riceve tranquillamente, anche ad ottime velocita', ma non ne vuole sapere di inviare.
Premo il bottone invio file, si apre normalmente la finestra, seleziono il file e do' OK ma nn accade semplicemente nulla...nessun errore...nessuna notifica all'altro utente.
Cosa puo' essere?

a volte lo fa anche a me, ma dipende anche dal client del ricevente.

Forse e' un problema di firewall

Io non riesco a mandare a nessuno...ho provato client gaim ed m$ msn messenger....ma niente da fare....
Per quanto riguarda il firewall, ho settato in guarddog il protocollo msn messenger chat permesso sia in internet che in locale....tant'e' che con gaim invio senza problemi, anche se pianissimo...

Dovrebbe essere un problema di firewall. Leggi nella doc quale porta bisogna aprire.

A: In this case, the firewall may be blocking incoming connections. File transfers work this way: When you want to send someone a file, you send an invitation with your IP address and a port number. Then the remote client must connect to your IP:port to start the transfer.
The used port is usually 6891, 6892 and so on (first transfer is on port 6891,but if you start a new file transfer while the first one hasn't finished yet, then it will use 6892, and so on).
If using a firewall, you must make sure that it allows incoming connections to port 6891 (and next ones if you want to be able to make more than one transfer at the same time).
If you're inside a private network with private addresses, like 192.168.0.x, then it's more difficult to make file transfers work. You need to send the real internet address (you can enter it manually or tell aMSN to guess it from a web page), instead of the internal address, and tell the gateway (the computer with direct connection to the internet) to forward incoming connections to port 6891 to your computer inside the private network.
Ho aperto manualmente le porta da 6891 a 6896 ma non cambia nulla.
Ricevo ma non riesco ad inviare, ed ho provato vari client riceventi.
C'e' da dire che ho fastweb e quindi sono in NAT, con ip privato...forse dovrei seguire la seconda parte della documentazione (if you're inside a private network...), ma non riesco a capire cosa consiglia di fare....anche perche non posso "tell the gateway" proprio nulla....

succedeva anche a me,ed era un problema di precompilato........ Mi sono compilato il sorgente e via.. Tutto funge..
