Hi,

Sorry for not speaking italian but its not my native language. Hi hope someone can help me anyways.

I have a problem running mldonkey-2.8.2-i486-1sid package.
If i run it as ROOT it seems to work well. If i run it as USER i get a Segmentation Fault error.

Any ideias?

Hi,
I had the same problem with the tgz from slacky.it
I downloaded the tar.gz (static) from the official website, copied the files into a dir in my home and created a symbolic link in /usr/bin/mlnet.
Works like a charm!

Try to compile MLDonkey without libmagic support (--disable-magic),
MLDonkey is known to fail if a text database is found first:
