ho aggiunto a hosts.allow:
ALL :ALL

killall -HUP inetd

kill processo proftpd

lacio proftpd
non parte
stessa cosa per sshd

devo installare qualcosa ? tcp_wrapper ?

Non ho ben capito il problema allora, comunque se utilizzi il superdemone inetd non devi lanciare manualmente sshd o proftpd ma è lui che ricevuta una richiesta da un client "ssh" o "ftp" li lancia in automatico e li scarica finito il collegamento. Di più non so che dirti mi dispice!
