Problema con DVD video

Ho un problema con i dvd video:l'audio funziona ma lo schermo è blu. Uso Slackware-current e la mia scheda video è una ATI Technologies Inc Radeon R250 [Mobility FireGL 9000] (rev 01). ecco il mio xorg.conf:

Cosa posso fare?Ho preso spunto da post precedenti ma non ho ottenuto nulla.Grazie sin d'ora a chi mi aiuterà.

più che di scheda video sembra un problema di codec

verifica di avere installati i pacchetti libdvdread libdvdcss e libdvdnav (tanto per cominciare) e poi il pacchetto mplayer-codecs

Probabilmente dipende dai driver video che indichi al programma. Adesso non ho Linux sotto mano, ma mi ricordo che sia da xine che da mplayer puoi agire sui driver di decodifica. Io avevo lo stesso problema ma lo schermo era verde.

che programma stai usando? in realtà sembra che stai tendando di leggere un dvd criptato, dovresti installare la libreria libdvdcss, la trovi quà nel repository di slacky

L'inconveniente mi accade sia con VLC che con KMplayer e Gxine.Ho installato libdvdcss,libdvdread,libdvdnav ed i codecs di mplayer eppure funziona solo l'audio.Come faccio ad indicare i driver al programma?

Ho risolto il problema installando Codeine.La stranezza è che lo devo avviare due volte di fila per vedere il video.Altrimenti funziona solo l'audio come negli altri programmi.Chi ci capisce qualcosa è bravo.

Quel parametro indica ad xorg la memoria della tua sk video, è opzionale ed in genere andrebbe
messo quando xorg non riesce a identificarlo da solo, io ce l'ho perchè ho risposto alle domande
di xorgconfig che te lo chiede.

Il fatto è che alcuni parametri sono incompatibili con altri, io più che altro proverei a togliere

purtroppo molti con le ati hanno problemi ad usare xv, io sono stato uno tra i
primi e dopo mesi ho risolto con le due opzioni in xorg.conf del post linkato
sopra, la stessa soluzione ha funzionato per molti altri

assicurati che i player video che usi abbiano impostato come driver video
xv (lo vedi smanettando nelle impostazioni).
