io ho slackware-current installato e kde4 come DM volevo sapere se era possibile utilizzare i tasti multimediali della mia tastiera (quella nel titolo) e se si come impostarli? grazie

apri una shell, lancia xev, metti il puntatore del mouse sulla finestra di X che ti compare e guarda alla pressione dei tasti se compare qualcosa!

Dovresti fare un file del tipo .xmodmaprc nella home che viene caricato dal programma xmodmap.
Questo file è del tipo
keycode numero = FX
dove numero è il keycode del tasto (che ti compare con xev) e X è un numero >12
In tal modo associ un "simbolo" al tasto. Cioè rendi un tasto qualsiasi un tasto "funzione".
supponiamo che il file contenga
keycode 162=F20
A questo punto devi installare xbindkeys e creare nella home il file .xbindkeysrc che conterrà l' associazione tasto function <-> azione da fare
Supponiamo che quel tasto corrisponda a "stop", il file xbindkeysrc conterrebbe:
"dcop amarok player stop"
F20
Poi crei in ~/.kde/Autostart un file di nome tastimultimediali.sh e ci scrivi
xmodmap /home/user/.xmodmaprc
xbindkeys -f /home/user/.xbindkeysrc
e salvi!
Riavviando kde, il tasto funziona.
Però ti dico la verità, non saprei come fare con quei tasti che non hanno keycode!
