<BR>ho installato MPlayer seguendo l´HOWTO presente su questo sito, funziona quasi tutto, ma nn riesco a sentire l´audio dei dvd originali (errore: Couldn´t find matching filter/ao format!)
<BR>quelli masterizzati invece si... mah!!
<BR>ho provato tutte le opzione di -ao ma nulla da fare!!
<BR>da cosa potrebbe dipendere?
<BR>tra le altre cose se avvio mplayer cdda:// per ascoltare un cd, mi salta(nel senso che mentre legge si ferma e poi riparte) suggerimenti?

Hai per caso provato a vedere in che formato è l´audio del/dei dvd
<BR>originali? Se è in DTS ti mancano le librerie libdts e le dovresti
<BR>installare. <br />

ok cercherò 'ste librerie, poi ho visto che ci sono le apposite opzione nel configure.
per i cd vabbe.. tanto li ascolto sullo stereo, era così per provare.

ok ho installato le libdts e ora anke i dvd originali si vedono e si sentono bene, ma stranamente (prima nn succedeva) mplayer crasha quando apro l'equalizzatore....
mah...!!!??? 8O come mai???

Come spesso capita non appena si risolve un problema ne nasce subito uno nuovo!!
Immagino che l'eq tu lo apra dalla gui...
installati i fonts? (unica cosa che mi viene in mente!)

si i fonts li ho installati, comunque anke prima se intervenivo su l'eq nn crashiava, ma nn mi diceva che l'operazione nn era supportata.

aggiungi ao=alsa in ~/.mplayer/config cosí da non doverlo aggiungere ogni volta

si ok, me ne ero accorto grazie!
ora con l'eq nn mi crasha più, ma nn mi fa cambiare i parametri... dandomi questo errore:
L'attributo video non è supportato dal vo & vd selezionati! 0
che si deve fa'?????

prova a cambiare driver per l'output, dai:
%mplayer -vo help
e fai un po' di prove.

senti, già che ci siamo, sapresti mica dirmi anke perchè se con mplayer leggo un cd (mplayer cdda://) riesco a sentirlo ma a tratti mi salta?

ok allora con -vo xv ho risolto definitivamente il problema dell'eq!!!
ora funziona tutto... comunque ho dovuto rieditare xorg.conf!
