log installazione libpcap

Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.
2) Per evitare confusione prego inserire in questo forum solo topic che riguardano appunto Slackware, se l'argomento è generale usate il forum Gnu/Linux in genere.
3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute.

vorrei capire...se da questo log qui sotto vi risulta che l'installazione sia andata a buon fine..a me sembra di si..poi cerco di usare un prog che richiede queste libpcap e mi dice

stesso risultato...
ma se installo le lib da root, poi anche un utente normale dovrebbe poterne usufruire,no?

Aggiungi il path dove e` installata a /etc/ld.conf e dai ldconfig

In SlackWare non si usa /usr/local per cui al configure devi passare --prefix=/usr

Io ho sempre installato le libpcap, e tutto è andato bene. Però devi installarle nella directory /usr. In /usr poi devi estrarre l'archivio, ..e tutto il resto

E' finita sotto /usr/local, prova a ricompilare usando ./configure --prefix=/usr
