rc.local non esegue comandi

Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.
2) Per evitare confusione prego inserire in questo forum solo topic che riguardano appunto Slackware, se l'argomento è generale usate il forum Gnu/Linux in genere.
3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute.
4) Scrivere i messaggi con il colore di default, evitare altri colori.
5) Scrivere in Italiano o in Inglese, se possibile grammaticalmente corretto, evitate stili di scrittura poco chiari, quindi nessuna abbreviazione tipo telegramma o scrittura stile SMS o CHAT.

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

OK.. Chiedo scusa,e che non mi e mai successo,e sono un po' impacciato.Ho installato il pacchetto per la current sysvinit-2.84-i486-57.tgz da http://www.slacware.it/pb

e lanciato

upgradepkg --reinstall sysvinit-2.84-i486-57.tgz

Ho sistemato un po' in rc.d che si eran creati un sacco di file doppi e in piu' in rc.local non si aggiungono le gnomate ad ogni avvio,anche se continua a non lanciare i comandi .. Vi pasto il mio rc.M e dateci uno sguardo .. Grazie

allora, funziona così:
quando installi il pacchetto dei sysvinit reinstalli la maggior parte degli script di /etc/rc.d/. per sicurezza questi script non sono sovrascritti ai precedenti ma vengono salvati come "doppioni" con l'estensione .new.

se tu usi gnome temo tu debba fare le cose in 2 step diversi:

1- aggiusti /etc/rc.d/ come hai fatto reinstallando i sysvinit
2- reinstalli il pacchetto analogo di gnome che aplòica delle patch (credo) agli script originali slack.

in pratica se ti si sput***na la dir /etc/rc.d/ ed hai modificato il contenuto della stessa devi:

1- ripristinare la dir originale di slack (come hai fatto con i sysvinit)
2- ripristinare i pacchetti che agiscono sui file originali introducendo delle novità (vedi dbus e hal per gnome).

intanto controlla che i servizi "originali" si slack partino all'avvio: se tutto è ok puoi passare a preoccuparti di gnome (passo 2)

Io uso e17 comunque,ma siccome uso molti programmi di gnome,ho installato direttamente gware,ma ripeto nemmeno allora mi funzionava ... Comunque procedo col passaggio n 2 .. Thanks absin ;)

magari potrà essere utile a qualcuno...

il motivo per cui amuled ,cosi come ddclient se qualcuno lo usa, bloccava per cosi dire i servizi che dovevano partire in seguito a lui stesso era l'ultima riga dello script di avvio che era :

exit 0


commentandola tutti i servizi cosi come gli script in local che partono dopo non avranno pià problemi...
