Aiuto installazione driver penna usb wireless[semi-risolto]

Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.
2) Per evitare confusione prego inserire in questo forum solo topic che riguardano appunto Slackware, se l'argomento è generale usate il forum Gnu/Linux in genere.
3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute.
4) Scrivere i messaggi con il colore di default, evitare altri colori.
5) Scrivere in Italiano o in Inglese, se possibile grammaticalmente corretto, evitate stili di scrittura poco chiari, quindi nessuna abbreviazione tipo telegramma o scrittura stile SMS o CHAT.
6) Appena registrati è consigliato presentarsi nel forum dedicato.

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

Come posso vedere quali reti sono presenti?
Mi spiego meglio quando vado in internet caffe come posso sapere quale l'essid della rete?
Non ho capito bene la tua richiesta ma
il comando per la scansione delle reti wireless presenti in zona , è iwlist <interfaccia> scanning...
se vuoi creare profili, basta editare il file /etc/rc.inet1.conf
e per questo ti rimando alla lettura dell'articolo (molto ben fatto) :

per l'indirizzo ip
ifconfig <nome interfaccia> <indirizzo ip> up
per il gateway
route add default gw <indirizzo gateway> netmask <netmask>

oppure se è presente un dhcp agent nella tua rete o stesso il router offre questo tipo di servizio anche per le connessioni wireless, basta digitare (sempre da riga di comando)

ma non riesci a pingare nessun computer della tua rete?
iwconfig wlan0? copia...
sul router puoi visualizzare gli accessi in wireless?
hai settata i server dns in /etc/resolv.conf ?
a limite, prova a digitare wpa_supplicant ecc. ecc. senza la -B finale che manda in background il processo.
e leggiti un po' il contenuto, vedi se si riesce ad agganciare alla rete...

Ma scusa perchè non provi prima a collegarti al tuo router in chiaro senza chiave, giusto per renderlo funzionante e poi da lì passi al secondo stadio di inserire una chiave di protezione,rifacendo tutta la procedura ;)

guarda non so che dirti, al limite riporova a riscrivere le configurazioni, controlla le impostazioni, controlla che hai abilitato il tkip nel kernel e l'ieee80211.
se dai un lsmod ti compaiono questi due protocolli? fammi sapere , ormai è diventata questione personale :badgrin:
