Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.
2) Per evitare confusione prego inserire in questo forum solo topic che riguardano appunto Slackware, se l'argomento è generale usate il forum Gnu/Linux in genere.
3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute.
4) Scrivere i messaggi con il colore di default, evitare altri colori.
5) Scrivere in Italiano o in Inglese, se possibile grammaticalmente corretto, evitate stili di scrittura poco chiari, quindi nessuna abbreviazione tipo telegramma o scrittura stile SMS o CHAT.

ho installato slack 11 a mio laptop , non mi funziona il mouse del laptop , quelo usb funziona ma no la rotelina
uso usa pcmc wirelless conceptronic
che trovati drivers qua http://linux-wless.passys.nl/query_hostif.php ma non so come faccio funzionare
il mio laptop [e un acer travel mate 2350

Ciao korkiras,
voglio premettere che nessuno nasce maestro, e che hai fatto bene a chiedere aiuto qua anche se i tuoi primi 2 problemi sono già stati affrontati!

Allora:

1) per il 'mouse' del portatile credo tu intenda il touchpad. La maggior parte dei laptop/notebook montanto un touchpad di tipo synaptic.
Per risolvere il problema devi installare i driver's specefici!

L'ultima versione attualmente disponibile è a questo indirizzo!

una volta scaricati decomprimi il pacchetto

poi devi compilarli con 'make && make install' se non ricordo male.

Successivamente devi Modificare il file di configurazione del server X

e aggiungere delle specifiche.

Dentro ai file del pacchetto dei driver leggi i vari README che sono spiegati molto bene
ti dicono come compilarli e come modificare l'xorg.conf

Presta particolare attenzione al README, ci dovrebbe essere una sezione che spiega come far funzionare Mouse USB e Touchpad assieme.

2) Per quanto riguarda la rotellina del Mouse modifica /etc/X11/xorg.conf

nella sezione

Codice: Seleziona tutto

Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier  "Mouse1"
    Driver      "mouse"
Aggiungi o modifica queste linee

Option "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no"
L'ultima riga puoi anche mettere "yes" se vuoi l'emulazione del 3° pulsante!

** Attenzione se per caso hai intenzione di ricompilare il kernel ti ricordo di abilitare in Device drivers -> Mouse -> [*] PS2 mouse o qualcosa del genere sennò addio touchpad[/color]

3) Per quanto riguarda la scheda wireless ho notato che molti modelli sono supportati
affianco (a destra) al tuo modello riportano il sito detentore dei driver's
Vai al sito e scarica i driver's!

ma non capisco no si vede nessuna luce . so che sono questi i drivers perchè usati per un altra distro linux

provo a buttarla lì; non è che devi caricare il firmware e/o con i driver sei vincolato ad una specifica versione del kernel?

Comunque il supporto c'è; è riportato anche qui insieme a del firmware;

Non so da dove comincare. sotto suse l avevo fatto ma non mi ricordo come é passato nel tempo ,sicuramente mi ricordo ho usato driver dalla rt2...
