usb smart card reader

Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

usb smart card reader

ciao,
mi è stato dato da un'amico uno smart card reader USB, nello specifico Hamlet HUSCR2, ho provato ad installare OpenSC (http://www.opensc-project.org) ma non viene rilevato dal programma mentre se lancio lsusb -v viene correttamente rilevato

Linux, solaris, mac senza problemi con driver in source code compilabile dove ti pare.

Ciao pedrus ... credo che riotten stia parlando di un lettore di schede smartcard, che vengono usate spesso dai commercialisti per la firma digitale ( http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smart_card. )
La smartcard non é semplice da gestire con Linux e non é un dispositivo tipo USB-Storage come una penna USB o una SD etc etc. :-)

Mi dispiace ma conosco solo il tipo di problema e nulla più ... ho provato con google a cercare "dike linux" ed é uscito questo ...

Ragazzi, mi sono perso.

Ma il problema è programmare le smart card oppure fare una specifica applicazione?

Qui trovate un sistema di sviluppo semplice ed intuitivo per programmare le smart card e fare delle applicazioni al volo.

Il sistema base è Windows ma una volta programmato il file system la card può essere gestita semplicemente anche sotto linux.

Infatti queste smart card sono delle smart card a microprocessore quindi funzionanti regolarmente con PCSC Lite vis APDU standard ISO7816.

Fatemi sapere che approfondiamo.

Far funzionare il lettore sotto Linux e poi programmare le SmartCard

si, dovrebbero funzionare regolarmente.il più per ora è sapere come gestirle.

..infatti, come si gestisce sotto linux?..io puntavo a configurarla, e programmarla, interamente sotto OS Gnu/Linux e/o *BSD senza far ricorso a Windows.
Conosci qualche guida che spieghi come gestire un lettore SmartCard sotto Linux?

non sono sicuro di aver compreso bene il problema del topic.
Il prblema non è tanto il reader, quanto la smart card
se si vuole usare la firma digitale bisogna assicurarsi che la smart card venga fornita corredata da librerie pkcs11 fornite dal produttore del chip della carta.
Questa cosa non è minimamente scontata in quanto è quasi impossibile che vengano fornite in versione compilabile, e quindi richiedono un ambiente compatibile con la compilazione stessa
