image = /boot/vmlinuz

label = "Slack12"

In particolare:
(hd0,4)

This specifies the first extended partition of the first hard disk drive. Note that the partition numbers for extended partitions are counted from `4', regardless of the actual number of primary partitions on your hard disk.

Codice: Seleziona tutto

image = /kubuntu/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.22-14-generic
initrd = /kubuntu/boot/initrd.img-2.6.22-14-generic
root = /dev/sda3
label = "Kubuntu"
read only

Codice: Seleziona tutto

image = /kubuntu/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.22-14-generic
initrd = /kubuntu/boot/initrd.img-2.6.22-14-generic
label = "Kubuntu"
append = "root=UUID=b1962890-3bdc-4e1d-b26e-ac22f0bf4005"
read only

Per forza: in /boot della partizione di Slackware non hai quel vmlinuz... e initrd...;

Codice: Seleziona tutto

image = /mnt/LinX/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.22-14-generic
initrd = /mnt/linX/boot/initrd.img-2.6.22-14-generic
root = /dev/sda3
label = "Kubuntu"
read only
lilo trova il kernel /mnt /LinX/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.22-14-generic ma non l'immagine RAM /mnt/LinX/boot/initrd.img-2.6.22-14-generic.
Infatti, lanciando lilo ricevi come errore

Codice: Seleziona tutto

Boot image: /mnt/LinX/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.22-14-generic
Mapping RAM disk /mnt/LinX/boot/initrd.img-2.6.22-14-generic
Fatal: open /mnt/LinX/boot/initrd.img-2.6.22-14-generic: No such file or directory
Ciao
