Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.
2) Per evitare confusione prego inserire in questo forum solo topic che riguardano appunto Slackware, se l'argomento è generale usate il forum Gnu/Linux in genere.
3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute.
4) Scrivere i messaggi con il colore di default, evitare altri colori.
5) Scrivere in Italiano o in Inglese, se possibile grammaticalmente corretto, evitate stili di scrittura poco chiari, quindi nessuna abbreviazione tipo telegramma o scrittura stile SMS o CHAT.
6) Appena registrati è consigliato presentarsi nel forum dedicato.

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

This is a script in perl that I find in Arch Linux Forums. Is effect is this:

The text in right terminal, where is show the info about the distro.

I tried to change the original script to do the same thing in Slackware, but my perl is worst than my english.
I asked for help in a portuguese forum, but my request was not listen.

I try now here, that Slackware is strong among us. That my request should be listen and we can make in our beloved distro, the same that Arch users and others have on their machines.

This is my script. It does very little, but was the best I could do.
I think there are problems with KDE4. And with my Slackware with Xfce I received a fail when I called the script.

And with my Slackware with Xfce I received a fail when I called the script.
What error message? Did you have installed scrot?

However the script works on my Slackware 13.0 with Kde, but it shows "64bits" but my Slackware is 32bits :

I didn't installed scrot. And it simply says fail in terminal.
That 64 bits is my fault. I don't know how to change it.

This is a screenshot of the Arch Linux script working in my Slackware 12.2
The script part that show KDE data, dont work on KDE 4 but works on KDE 3.5.x
