Premetto che non ho usato mai Slackware, le distro che pi\ si avvicinano da me usate sono Slax Live e ZenWalk.
So che il problema in oggetto e' stato tratato piu' volte, ma non sono riuscito a trovare una risposta nei post trovati.
Ho un portatile con Ati HD 3470 al quale [ collegato un Monitor 1680x1050. Dopo svariati tentativi con i drivers proprietari, sono riuscti ad avere una situazione accettabile con uno schermo clone rimuovendo tutto ci; che aveva a che fare con fglrx e usando xorgsetup, quindi ora uso i drivers radeonhd.
Quello che vorre fare e' avere un monitor unico, che mi dia la possibilita' di passare le finestre da un monitor all'altro.
Ho provato in modo dinami co con Xrandr, ma ottengo cio':
