gdm di gnome (ubuntu 7.10) non funziona

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

gdm di gnome (ubuntu 7.10) non funziona
Devo reinstallare gdm di gnome (ubuntu 7.10) dopo una modifica che lo ha mandato in tilt. Ma, una volta installato, mi dice che manca il file custom.conf per cui non posso accedere alla finestra di accesso per modificare l'impostazione che non lo fa funzionare. In quale pacchetto sta, oppure come posso risolvere il problema? Grazie mille.
Questo è il custom.conf di Gnome-Slacky! Va copiato sotto /etc/X11/gdm nella Slackware 12.0! Su Ubuntu però non conosco la disposizione delle directory!
