Grave limite di samba!

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.
2) Per evitare confusione prego inserire in questo forum solo topic che riguardano appunto Gnu/Linux in genere, se l'argomento è specifico alla Slackware usate uno dei forum Slackware o Slackware64.
3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute
4) Scrivere i messaggi con il colore di default, evitare altri colori.
5) Scrivere in Italiano o in Inglese, se possibile grammaticalmente corretto, evitate stili di scrittura poco chiari, quindi nessuna abbreviazione tipo telegramma o scrittura stile SMS o CHAT.
6) Appena registrati è consigliato presentarsi nel forum dedicato.

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

che e' /mnt/risorsa??? tu hai scritto "ls: /mnt/samba: Permission denied"; per cortesia posta l'output di "ls -al / && ls -al /mnt" facendo semplicemente copia e incolla dalla shell al browser
senza togliere/modificare/aggiungere nulla

Se provo ad accedere come utente anziche' root, la situazione e' invariata...

questo e' molto strano, il messaggio "ls: /mnt/samba: Permission denied" appare come output del comando "ls -al /" e non di "ls -al /mnt" (il che non e' verosimile a meno che la directory samba non stia sotto / anziche' sotto /mnt); sicuro di aver fatto copia e incolla dell'output dei comandi che ti avevo dato senza modificare nulla?

Non ho modificato nulla...

E' proprio questa la cosa piu' strana...non l'avevo mai vista prima... succede solo con samba...

Qualche teoria a riguardo?

magia? un lkm che fa hooking della sys_open? bhooo, bisognerebbe analizzare la cosa; comunque continua a non tornarmi il fatto che l'errore ls lo da quando fai ls -al / e non ls -al /mnt; come se la directory samba stesse in / e non in /mnt; la cosa piu' verosimile e' che tu ti sia sbagliato nel dare i comandi o nel postare l'output.

Come puoi vedere in quest'ultimo caso il contenuto della directory viene presentato in maniera corretta...
