Problems with SlackBuild and Current

As a lots of people told me... All these .tgz packages here are built on a clean 10.2
I am using Current /KDE 3.5.4; Kernel 2.6.17.11/
So I am rebuilding some of my favourite packages using the build scripts from Slacky.it

Until today I had no problem at all...

But today I have a serious problem with 2 of the packages... Knemo and Crystal.
In the first case I have this:

grep: /usr/lib/libfreetype.la: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/libfreetype.la: No such file or directory
libtool: link: `/usr/lib/libfreetype.la' is not a valid libtool archive
make[2]: *** [kcm_knemo.la] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/tmp/tgz/knemo-0.4.5/src/kcm'
make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/tgz/knemo-0.4.5/src'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

Witn Crystal I have this:

/usr/lib/gcc/i486-slackware-linux/3.4.6/../../../../i486-slackware-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lfreetype
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [embedtool] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/crystal-1.0.1/pics'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
strip: '/tmp/package-crystal/opt/kde/lib/kde3/*.so': No such file

My first question is... Is this happen because of a wrong /or incomplete/ update of the system? Or it happens because the SlackBuild's should be changed?
I hope it is the second as I suppose there are too many changes since 10.2

If anyone can help here... ?

l/freetype-2.1.9-i486-1.tgz: Moved from the X to the L series.
This makes more sense because freetype does not depend on any X11 libraries,
and because PHP has now been built linked to libfreetype.

Perhaps you didn't install this.

I am using slapt-get for upgrading my system. I know that sometimes it drops some of the newly added packages... I don't know why
Usually with --upgrade option it installs just existing ones and with --dist-upgrade it should install all /even the newly added ones/.

Well I guess it missed this one
