[Risolto] problemi con aggiornamento del 26 marzo

Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware64 postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti che trattano la Slackware32 o generali... per quelli usate rispettivamente il forum Slackware e Gnu/Linux in genere.

Scusate dopo aver eseguito stamattina i consueti aggiornamenti di sistema, mi sono ritrovato un sistema compromesso.Premetto che uso la versione current della 64 bit e come desktop manager ho xfce. Intanto l'icona di network manager che mi spunta sul pannello superiore mi segna il simbolo della batteria in carica quando invece sto usando la batteria, e cosa ancora piu grave sempre nel pannello in alto dove ci sta il mio nome utente se ci clicco tra le varie opzioni (blocca schermo, cambia utente, sospendi, spegni esci) mi da la possibilità di eseguire solo blocca schermo ed esci, e mi è sparita la possibilità di spegnere il sistema. inoltre tutto mi si è rallentato, o meglio quando accedo allo startx, se clicco su finestra terminale che voglio aprirla, sembra nopn fare nulla, e la apre dopo circa 50 secondi, come se il sistema in questo intermezzo fosse impegnato o bloccato da qualche processo, però se nello stesso momento apro boriwser o foto me le apre all'istante, solo se clicco su finestra terminale, vlc ed altro rimane come bloccato, comunque dopo che mi apre la finestra terminale, se la richiudo e ci riclicco sulla icona per aprire lo fa fulmineamente, ma all'inizio è come se tutto fosse incasinato. Non so se può essere collegato ma ho notato quando finalmente si apre la finestra terminale, digitando il comando top, che circa l'88 % della cpu viene occupato dal processo gnome keyring + e subito dopo qualche secondo noto che il processo non rientra piu nel carico della cpu, che sia questo che in quei circa 50 e passa secondi rallenta tutto? Praticamente in questo frangente in cui tutto sembra bloccato ho notato che se clicco sul mio nome utente (nella barra in alto) rimane bloccato e non mi da la classica sotto finestra con le varie opzioni (blocca schermo, sospendi, spegni, esci), il sistema ridiventa reattivo solo quando cliccando sul mio nome utente nella barra in alto, mi da le opzioni. Davvero non capisco se qualche aggiornamento di stamattina (tra cui anche il network manager che è arrivato alla relase 1.10.10-x86_64-5 ha in realtà compromesso qualcosa. Tanto che ho provato a fare un upgrade dello stesso alla versione precedente, (avevo consevata la release 1.10.10_3 ma a nulla è servito, mettendola ho incasinato ancora di più, tanto che poi ho dovuto ripristinare rimettendo la versione che mi ha scaricato oggi. Inutile è valso ogni mio tentativo di ricostruire l'ambiente grafico

o addirittura lo xorg. Adesso chiedo a voi esperti se ci sta un modo per risolvere la situazione o capire cosa sia successo al sistema dopo gli aggiornamenti di oggi. Se devo postare qualche comando per illustrarvi meglio la mia situazione, ditemi pure, ma per favore datemi una mano perchè il sistema in questo modo è davvero inusabile.
Questo parte del mio Xorg-0 log, praticamente evito di copiarlo tutto perchè poi è un continuo ripetersi all'infinito delle ultime righe.

Ti conviene aspettare un nuovo aggiornamento di current che dovrebbe sistemare, ma se proprio vuoi aggiustare subito puoi dare questi comandi (da root, e poi riavviare)

Tieni di conto che, come dice Robby, i dati dell'utente e del gruppo polkitd potrebbero anche essere diversi nel fix ufficiale che distribuirà Pat, quindi, prima di applicare il prossimo fix, dovrai preoccuparti di rimuoverli.

ringrazio ponce per la sua competenza, ma al momento visto che lui stesso suggerisce di aspettare un aggiornamento ufficiale, evito di dare i comandi e aspettare, a meno che non mi dice anche come ripristinare la situazione dopo che ho dato quei comandi e prima di rifare un aggiornamento. Adesso il mio slackware è davvero alquanto inutilizzabile. Speriamo che non si deva aspettare tanto per questo update della current che va a correggere i problemi da me riscontrati

L'ho scritto sopra: se aggiungi manualmente utente e gruppo polkitd, prima di installare il nuovo aggiornamento di policykit con il prossimo "slackpkg upgrade-all" dovrai preoccuparti di rimuoverli.
Lo puoi fare con questi comandi

Comunque fai nel modo che ti fa essere più tranquillo, è una tua decisione, come quella di usare una versione di sviluppo di Slackware, come è la current.

grazie ancora Ponce. Con i comandi che mi hai suggerito tutto è tornato alla normalità. Quando uscirà l'aggiornamento ufficiale provvederò ad eseguire gli altri comandi che mi hai suggerito. Per il momento visto che è una soluzione non ufficiale, lascio il post aperto.
EDIT: stamattina vedo che hanno aggiornato polkitd, ma se vado ad eseguire i comandi suggeriti da Ponce, prima di fare l'aggiornamento, ottengo degli errori:

bash-4.3# groupdel polkitd
groupdel: cannot remove the primary group of user 'polkitd'
bash-4.3# userdel polkitd
userdel: user polkitd is currently used by process 1101
Al momento non ho quindi aggiornato, come procedo?

Aggiorna normalmente, Pat ha scelto stessi UID e GID
