Ho provato il DVD sul mio PC e l'installazione parte regolarmente, quindi è escluso l'errore di masterizzazione
Ho provato a far partire la ISO della current di fine aprile ma mi dà lo stesso problema, ovvero un kernel panic
A questo punto ho provato a filmare l'output a schermo, poi con avidemux ho copiato integralmente l'output fino al kernel panic. Purtroppo alcune scrollate erano troppo veloci e i fotogrammi sono illegibili. Questo è quello che sono riuscito a copiare (un lavoraccio da cinesi...):

Inutile far presente che per me è quasi tutto arabo.
Un'ultima cosa: per scrupolo ho provato a far partire il DVD di installazione della Ubuntu 16.04 (se non ricordo male dovrebbe avere un kernel della serie 4.11.
All'inizio è comparso questo avviso:

Però poi la live si è autoconfigurata regolarmente.
Non so se i due problemi siano correlati, può anche darsi che il problema riscontrato da Ubuntu sia un altro ma poi viene risolto attivando il driver adatto. In ogni caso non ci capisco una mazza. Quello che mi sembra strano è che la configurazione hardware è pienamente compatibile con i vecchi kernel dell'installazione di ubuntu (3.13) e della slackware 14.1 (4.4).
Anche per le case dell'hardware che ho cambiato sono comunque sempre le stesse (ovviamente cambiano i modelli): scheda madre Asus, processore AMD, scheda grafica Nvidia. Ho cambiato solo per la RAM, in quanto ho installato una Corsair, che comunque mi sembra che venga rilevata dal kernel.
Domani provo ad installare la 14.2 e vedo cosa succede. Se dovesse funzionare, come estrema ratio potrei poi provare ad aggiornare tutti i pacchetti installati alla current, ma ho paura che se c'è un'incompatibilità dei nuovi kernel mi ritroverò poi un kernel panic dopo l'aggiornamento.
