alsa driver e kernel 2.6.18

Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.

3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute.

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

alsa driver e kernel 2.6.18

ho appena installato la slack 11 ora devo compilare il kernel 2.6.18, però mi ricordo che con la 10.2 avevo sempre avuto problemi perchè non mi funzionava più alsa, cosa devo fare in fase di compilazione o di config per far funzionare tutto bene?

pardon...praticamente una volta che aver ricompilato il kernel non funzionava + l'audio, poi se lanciavo alsa da terminale mi dava un errore...tipo che gli mancavano o dei moduli o degli header ..ora non ricordo bene!

se installai tutti i pakketti del 2.6.18 presenti sui cd della slack 11 sono compresi i driver alsa e gli haders e i moduli tutto
quindi vai tranquillo

Veramente nei precompilati della serie 2.6 Pat ha messo
già il supporto alsa, per cui non servono gli Alsa driver.
Personalmente quando compilo un nuovo kernel
metto il supporto alla mia scheda come modulo
Se tu può servire, ti mando il pezzo del mio config
