Ho un masterizzatore esterno che si collega tramite USB (sia 1.1 che 2.0). Sul computer da cui vi scrivo c'è una Slackware 10.1 con il kernel 2.6.10 precompilato preso da /testing.
Purtroppo non riesco a farlo funzionare... Quando lo collego dmesg fornisce:

Vengono caricati due moduli: ub e sg. ub è il low performance usb driver? Ho sentito che ci sono problemi con quello, vero?
C'è un modo per far andare il masterizzatore senza ricompilare il kernel? Su un laptop (in cui non ho messo il supporto sata e quello per l'usb low performance) il masterizzatore funzionava...
