Eh, bella domanda, se aspetti che succede? Nulla? sempre schermo nero? Dall'output sembra che X parta. Come lo avvii il server, con startx?

Non succede nulla. Rimane nero lo schermo. Si con startx.
Non è che dopo che ho ricompilato il kernel ha bisogno di caricare qualcosa? o.o (scusate se è stupida la domanda)

al posto di startx dai xwmconfig e vedi se hai altri desktop manager, ne scegli uno e dai startx,cosi escludi problemi dei driver installati

Ma nel bios non dice proprio nulla riguardo alla scheda video VGA? In giro dice che devi passare la priorità alla PCI-e invece della integrated. Se risolvi con il BIOS è meglio. Anche se dal log di X non sembra esserci nulla di strano. Dopo che lanci starx e prima di terminare, non puoi passare alla console con "ctrl-alt-f1" e vedere di capirci qualcosa?

se passo alla console sta caricando il MONDO credo che devo aspettare. Ma da anche degli errori, un bel po di errori. Esempio:

Un'idea che mi ha suggerito il post di erio. Controlla se nella tua home directory hai un file chiamato '.xinitrc' (con: ls ~/.xinitrc), se si, rinominalo come '.xinitrc.old' (con: mv ~/.xinitrc ~/.xinitrc.old) e quindi esegui il comando 'xinit', questo semplicemente avvia il server X con un xterm. Mi sembra strano che carichi il MONDO, ma comunque non uso DE e quindi non saprei cosa deve fare all'avvio.
