Problems with compiz

hi everyone, it is such a great site that u have. Congrats
now tried to install compiz and is seems to work but i cant start ccsm here is what it shows

Seems like that locale isn't supported. For a list of supported locales, type

locale -a

and put the one that suits you in /etc/profile.d/lang.sh inside the LANG variable.
Try setting it to en_US or en_US.utf8 (ignoring cyrillic alphabet for now) and see what happens.

About you second question I actually don't know of a setting to make the windows transparent, but if you're using compiz you can play with the opacity of a window using ALT+Mouse Wheel when the cursor is over it

:PP yes u were right . i tried before with the previous compiz like 10 times, it was because of that, but i need this encoding, can i have both

I really don't know.
You could try leaving the LANG variable at the previuos setting (with cyrillic alphabet) and only define the LC_ALL variable with en_US/en_US.utf8 and see what happens.

Did you try launching compiz with rotate plugin?

yes it works fine ,even 3d desktop with reflection. But i can see alot of bugs. Main is that desktops are bugged multiplied by 4. I cant be with my 4 standard desktops, then my screensaver bugges - it is not like full screen but as if moved at 1 side. Often when i use some extras and press Esc the window manager crashes so i have to restart X, and some more. Am i the only 1 having this issues?! I like it but this is annoing.

2x1GB@1000
2x320GB Hdd
7600GT ddr3 - and soon 9600 or 8800GT

Do you mean that the 4 desktop previews located in KDE Kicker are broken when you start compiz?
This is normal. You need to install kicker compiz: http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=46021 and add it to the applets in your Kicker.

I'm using compiz-git with a 8800m gti and it's working fine (only a crash sometime with quanta+ upload dialog), mb u can consider to upgrade to compiz-git?
