Compiz su Slackware 12.0

Per i plugins credo che ci toccherà aspettare, a meno di mettersi a manina a controllare il codice, ma io non credo di esserne capace... ho postato gli errori nella speranza che qualcuno che si intende di C mi sapesse dare qualche indicazione, o almeno tradurre gli errori, altrimenti non so proprio da che parte iniziare...

ciao max, veramente non so come fare lo slackbuild, l'installazione di driconf è in python, non so come si faccia...
La procedura per installare è semplicissima:

Ma da qui a creare un tgz... non credo di esserne capace, mi vengono giusto quelli con configure && make && make install...

Tu lo sapresti fare?? Se vuoi ti passo le pygtk, così magari provi...

infatti sulla slack 11 avevo i driver proprietari e xgl, ma volevo evitarlo
dove trovo la lista delle schede supportate dai driver open? ho cercato un po' ma non ho trovato nulla

ehm, adesso non voglio fare il rompiscatole... esiste il sito
ufficiale di DRI su freedesktop.org, comunque la lista delle

Non credo siano errori veri e propri ma semplici warnings, comunque io ho creato a mano le dir e i files che mi richiedeva, solo che non ci scrive nulla...

come dal sito di compiz mi dice che non ho gconf.

e basta mi parte senza errori (pare) però senza decoratore di finestre... voi direte, bene fai partire "gtk-window-decorator"... eh no! Perché le finestre sono inammovibili, cioè anche usando ALT non si spostano e se faccio partire il decoratore non cambia nulla.

Mi sembra di aver letto da qualche parte che questo (e la sezione DRI alla fine del file) servano solo per le schede ATI, avendo lui nvidia non so se possa essere utile...

No no no, è probabilissimo che abbia detto una ca***ta io, l'ho detto prima che per nvidia non so nulla...

Forse ho risolto... effettivamente le sezioni "DRI" con le schede nvidia sono superflue.
Invece le righe nello "xorg.conf" aggiunte in automatico dall'utility nvidia per la risoluzione a 1920x1200 sono quelle che mi danno problemi.
Se tolgo quelle tutto va.

Addirittura quando avvio compiz ora non mi si killa neppure il decoratore di kde, ma tutto va e basta!
