Masterizzatore DVD e Cdrom invisibili!![risolto]

Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.
2) Per evitare confusione prego inserire in questo forum solo topic che riguardano appunto Slackware, se l'argomento è generale usate il forum Gnu/Linux in genere.
3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute.
4) Scrivere i messaggi con il colore di default, evitare altri colori.
5) Scrivere in Italiano o in Inglese, se possibile grammaticalmente corretto, evitate stili di scrittura poco chiari, quindi nessuna abbreviazione tipo telegramma o scrittura stile SMS o CHAT.

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

Vedo che hai risolto già e il problema era la configurazione di LILO ... potresti scrivere un ultimo post di resoconto.
Inoltre potresti editare il titolo con [Risolto] in modo tale che altri possano prendere spunto da questo thread ... :-)

Il problema non e' risolto!!! :(

urka il comando cdrecord dev=ATAPI -scanbus e' quello che ti ho postato precedentemente.
ls -l /dev/hd* non da output, idem per dmesg | grep "hda\|hdb\|hdc\|hdd"

Andiamo male...probabilmente non viene riconosciuto il controller ide.
Dovresti postare l'output di
lspci -v (come root)
e il config del kernel 2.6.18 nella sezione
ATA/ATAPI/MFM/RLL support
Per curiosità, hai usato un kernel stock o l'hai compilato tu ?

Penso che tu abbia attivato le libata ... vedi se funziona questo preso dal wikislacky...

sempre che non mi sia sbagliato...
Per linux >=2.6.14 questo hack _è deprecato_! Basta infatti aggiungere alla boot cmdline del kernel: "libata.atapi_enabled=1"; See my lilo.conf. È importante, altrimenti il vostro lettore non verrà neanche rilevato!!

ho aggiunto a lilo.conf la voce append=ibata.atapi_enabled=1
ma non e'cambiato nulla... :(

Nel config del tuo kernel hai attivato solo il driver per il controller ide viacom.
Ho cercato su google ma non sono riuscito a trovare quale sia il driver specifico per il tuo controller ide (IDE interface: Intel Corporation 82801EB/ER). Dovrebbe essere il PIIX, ma a scanso di errori, direi di attivare tutti i driver e ricompilare il kernel.(non fa male....)

A questo punto credo che sia un problema di configurazione del kernel ... riprova con un kernel standard ...

Ok stasera proverò a ricompilare il kernel poi vi faro' sapere...
Una curiosità : da dove recupera le info il comando lspci -v?
Penso dal BIOS altrimenti il sistema saprebbe già quale controller utilizzare!!!

Grazie a tutti ragazzi!! Ho ricompilato il kernel aggiungendo il modulo PII ora sono comparsi hda e hdb, Ora ho il problema della scheda audio ma apriro' un'altro post.Grazie a tutti SALUTI!!!!!
