il core di MLDONKEY non parte piu'

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.

3) Leggere attentamente le risposte ricevute
4) Scrivere i messaggi con il colore di default, evitare altri colori.
5) Scrivere in Italiano o in Inglese, se possibile grammaticalmente corretto, evitate stili di scrittura poco chiari, quindi nessuna abbreviazione tipo telegramma o scrittura stile SMS o CHAT.
6) Appena registrati è consigliato presentarsi nel forum dedicato.

La non osservanza delle regole porta a provvedimenti di vari tipo da parte dello staff, in particolare la non osservanza della regola 5 porta alla cancellazione del post e alla segnalazione dell'utente. In caso di recidività l'utente rischia il ban temporaneo.

il core di MLDONKEY non parte piu'

ciao,
dopo un brusco riavvio del PC (slackware 12.0) non riesco più ad avviare Mldonkey 2.9.4 da utente normale, invece da root il problema non persiste.
Il problema è che i settaggi dell'utente root sono differenti da quelli dell'utente che uso normalmente ed oltretutto lanciare MlDonkey da root non è che mi affascini molto.
Questo è che quello che vedo all'avvio di MLDonkey da console

Ho ovviamente cancellato il nome del file ma questo problema permane sullo stesso file ogni volta che cerco di aprire MLDONKEY.

Qualche idea/consiglio?

la butto li, permessi file?il percorso /mnt/P2P/mldonkey/temp/ è giusto? prova magari a cancellare la directory /home/nouser/.mldonkey e provare a riavviare mldonkey, controlla anche nel file files.ini se c'è qualche riferimento a quel tipo di file.

il percorso alla directory è giusto e tutti gli utenti hanno pieno accesso a quella partizione per cui directory sbagliate e permessi file sono esclusi.
Per quanto riguarda la cancellazione della directory /home/nouser/.mldonkey ma scusa, avendo essa all'interno tutti i files di configurazione il demone non dovrebbe neanche partire o sbaglio?!

in quella directory ci sono solo i file di configurazione di quell utente, quindi dopo aver cancellato la directory, appena riavvii mldonkey la dovrebbe ricreare,così per ogni programma, comunque se hai dubbi, prima di cancellarla fai il backup della directory.

esatto, ma perderei tutti i settaggi del programma.
comunque ho eliminato la directory /home/nouser/.mldonkey (ho prima backuppato) ed effetivamente adesso il core con l'utente nouser parte perfettamente, ho poi chiuso il core....ripristinato i files downloads.ini ed users.ini ma il problema si ripropone non fa partire di nuovo il core, da questo capisco che uno dei 2 files crea dei problemi al demone (presumo con una certa probabilità downloads.ini) ma quale settaggio?

prova a postare il contenuto dei 2 file o mettili su filetor.org così potremo visionarli e cercare una soluzione

Ti posto solo l'intero contenuto di downloads.ini anche perchè ho ri-eliminato la directory /home/nouser/.mldonkey e ripristinato solo il file users.ini e comunque il core parte senza problemi per cui il problema è in questo file ma non so dove

A me su Debian il problema pare essere stato causato
(ho visto /var/lib/mkdonkey/mlnet.log) dal fatto che,
erroneneamente, il programma trovava la dir
per scaricare (che in Debian è /var/lib/mldonkey)
piena, mentre c'erano oltre 60 GB liberi. Non riuscendo
a risolvere, ho tolto e reinstallato Mldonkey
e ha ripreso a funzionare...
