Se avete problemi con l'installazione e la configurazione di Slackware postate qui. Non usate questo forum per argomenti generali... per quelli usate Gnu/Linux in genere.

Regole del forum
1) Citare sempre la versione di Slackware usata, la versione del Kernel e magari anche la versione della libreria coinvolta. Questi dati aiutano le persone che possono rispondere.

Purtroppo mi succede di nuovo!! :(
Ho un serverino che uso anche per l'archivio dati tramite FTP o NFS... Ho da poco scaricato la ISO del DVD di Slackware 12.2 ed ho iniziato a trasferire il file dal server al fisso per scrivere il DVD, quando, più o meno intorno al 3%-4% si è bloccato il trasferimento... Dopo una decina di secondi è ripreso tutto, ma ad una velocità più lenta (non più ai soliti 10 MB/s, ma intorno ai 6-7)...
Tempo fa mi succedeva la stessa cosa... Il kernel è ricompilato, e con quello originale non solo crea problemi all'IRQ 11, ma anche al 17 (se non sbaglio), ed i trasferimenti scendono ad 1 MB/s...
Ho controllato e l'IRQ 11 sembra associato a qualche controller USB... Tempo fa mi era successa la stessa cosa ed avevo risolto ricompilando il kernel ed eleiminando tutte le voci non necessarie, ma soppratutto togliendo tutto ciò che era EXPERIMENTAL...

Il bello è che continua a darmi: irq 11: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option) :)

Comunque non ho notato che ora la velocità di trasferimento dei dati è massima, anche se ogni tatno continua ad avere dei "singhiozzi", per così dire!! ;)
Questa volta ho trasferito una directory tramite NFS
